Experience and observation

 Today was an absolutely beautiful late December day to go out and paint. Birds - 4 bald eagles - dozens of black-capped chickadees, one pileated woodpecker- it was huge, several pheasants and in the stream a few trout. 

Going downhill with my gear was easier than the trec uphill ( duh) and wheels are great for transporting gear. 

The work I do outdoors informs my studio work.
